MSC Cruises to Sponsor Three Formula 1 Races in 2027

MSC Cruises has announced that it will serve as title sponsor for three FIA Formula One races during the 2027 season.

The cruise line will sponsor the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Belgian Grand Prix 2027, the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix and the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Premio de Portugal 2027.

The announcement follows the extension of MSC Cruises’ partnership with Formula 1. According to the company, the title sponsorships will build on its existing trackside branding and hospitality activities. MSC Cruises first established its partnership with Formula 1 in 2022, with the agreement now extended through 2030.

During the 2027 season, branding from both companies within MSC Group’s Cruise Division will appear at selected races. This will include MSC Cruises as well as the group’s luxury cruise brand, Explora Journeys.

The Belgian Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from July 23 to 25, 2027, bringing Formula 1 racing back to the Belgian Ardennes. Portugal will also return to the Formula 1 calendar following a short absence. The MSC Cruises Premio de Portugal is scheduled for June 18 to 20, 2027.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Grand Prix will make its return to the Formula 1 calendar from October 1 to 3, 2027. The race will be held as part of a new five-year agreement beginning with the 2027 Formula 1 season.
