MSC Cruises has announced an expanded roster of entertainment options coming to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, its exclusive Bahamian island destination, set to launch in January 2026.

These new offerings will enhance the island’s current lineup of water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding and jet skiing.

According to a company press release, the upcoming experiences feature the following:

Wellness and Sports

Two expert coaches from MSC Cruises’ U.S.-based fleet will oversee daily wellness and fitness programming on the island.

Activities will include a fire-and-ice experience combining hot yoga with ice baths, plus sunrise yoga sessions accompanied by sound-healing meditation.

Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt

Visitors can take part in an educational augmented reality (AR) treasure hunt designed for guests of all ages.

Through their smartphones or tablets, participants can locate various wooden sculptures throughout Ocean Cay that activate AR storytelling features when scanned.

Each site highlights a particular environmental concern and the steps MSC Cruises is implementing to tackle it, reflecting Ocean Cay’s dedication to protecting marine ecosystems.

Young guests can also explore information about the island’s marine life, plant species and wildlife.

Lego Pop Up

Families arriving at Ocean Cay will encounter a Lego experience at the island’s Welcome Pavilion, showcasing seven Lego mascots alongside MSC Cruises’ mascot, Doremi.

Ocean Cay features eight beaches and a recently added Marine Conservation Centre where visitors can discover more about the MSC Foundation’s coral preservation initiatives at the island.
