MSC Seashore to Move to PortMiami for 2027-2028 Winter
With the introduction of the new MSC World Atlantic in Port Canaveral, MSC Cruises plans to reposition the MSC Seashore to PortMiami in late 2027.
Deployment details published on MSC Cruises’ website show that the Seaside-class ship will return to South Florida for the 2027–28 winter season. Once based in Miami, the vessel is scheduled to operate six- to nine-night itineraries to the Eastern Caribbean and the Bahamas.
Each sailing will include a call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s private island destination in the Bahamas. Additional ports on the schedule include Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, Philipsburg in St. Maarten, Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas, Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos, and Basseterre in St. Kitts.
The MSC Seashore is expected to arrive in Miami in early November 2027 and remain there through at least March 2028. Prior to its return to South Florida, the 4,560-guest ship will continue operating year-round cruises from Port Canaveral. During 2027, its schedule from Central Florida includes a series of three- and four-night Bahamas sailings with stops in Nassau and Ocean Cay.
Alongside the MSC Seashore, MSC Cruises will also deploy MSC Grandiosa and the new MSC World Atlantic from Port Canaveral. After debuting at the port earlier this month for the winter season, Grandiosa is set to transition to year-round service in 2027.
Currently under construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France, MSC World Atlantic will operate its inaugural season from Port Canaveral. As the third vessel in MSC Cruises’ World class, the 205,700-ton ship will begin year-round operations from Central Florida in November 2027. The newly announced inaugural schedule includes a series of seven-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
