NCLH Opens Modern Medical Clinic for Filipino Crew

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) has launched its own dedicated medical clinic in the Philippines, designed specifically to serve its Filipino crew members.
Situated on the 19th floor of the Trium Building on Buendia Avenue in Pasay City, the NCLH Medical Clinic and Laboratory OPC is a state-of-the-art facility that provides comprehensive pre-employment medical examinations for seafarers preparing to join NCLH’s fleet.
“This marks a new chapter for NCLH. We dedicate this space to service and care,” said Dr. Carlos Gonzalez, the clinic’s Chief Medical Officer, during remarks ahead of a formal blessing by Fr. Boy Saavedra of the Apostleship of the Seas.
The 674-square-meter clinic houses fully equipped departments covering dental care, ultrasound, X-ray, optical services, clinical lab work, ECG, treadmill stress tests, drug screening, audiometry, and psychological assessments. Each section is manned by certified medical professionals and features advanced diagnostic tools to ensure thorough and efficient evaluations.
This new clinic highlights NCLH’s strong commitment to its Filipino crew members, many of whom are recruited through CF Sharp Crew Management, a leading supplier of Filipino seafarers worldwide.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings operates three prominent cruise brands—Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises—with a fleet exceeding 32 ships. The company is also preparing to expand further with 11 new vessels on the horizon.
