Oceania Cruises Moves to Adults-Only Sailings in 2026
Oceania Cruises has announced that beginning January 7, 2026, all new reservations for future voyages will be limited to guests aged 18 and over. The change is intended to enhance the onboard atmosphere and align with guest preferences.
The cruise line confirmed that any bookings made before January 7, 2026, that include travelers under the age of 18 will be fully honored, allowing for a smooth and respectful transition for affected guests.
“Our guests have consistently shared that the tranquil environment aboard our ships is one of the primary reasons they return time and time again,” stated Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “By transitioning to an adults-only experience, we are enhancing the very essence of the Oceania Cruises journey – one defined by sophistication, serenity and discovery.”
Oceania Cruises said the decision followed extensive research that included input from returning guests, travel partners, and first-time customers. The feedback consistently highlighted that travelers are drawn to the line for its calm onboard environment, refined service, and relaxed pace, qualities that resonate strongly with mature and affluent guests.
