Royal Caribbean Debuts America’s Got Talent Show at Sea
Royal Caribbean will introduce a new stage production inspired by the television series America’s Got Talent aboard Legend of the Seas beginning in August 2026.
According to a company press release, America’s Got Talent LIVE will bring a newly adapted version of the well-known variety show to the cruise industry. The production will mark the first time the entertainment franchise has been featured as a headline show on a cruise ship.
“At Royal Caribbean, we are constantly redefining live entertainment at every turn—bringing jaw-dropping performances to life across stage, air, water, and ice—and America’s Got Talent LIVE on Legend of the Seas is the perfect expression of that vision,” said Christine Coachman, vice president of entertainment, Royal Caribbean.
“As one of the most acclaimed entertainment franchises on television, America’s Got Talent perfectly reflects our commitment to bold, world-class experiences that will truly wow our audiences on Legend.”
The show will take place in the Royal Theater aboard Legend of the Seas and feature performers connected to the Got Talent brand. Acts will include magicians, musicians, acrobats, aerialists and other entertainers.
In addition to this production, the musical Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” will also premiere on the ship.
Other entertainment venues onboard will feature a range of performances. The AquaTheater will host shows with high divers, aerialists, robots and dancers, while Absolute Zero—described by Royal Caribbean as the largest ice arena at sea—will present ice skating performances.
At the start of its maiden season, Legend of the Seas will operate seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises departing from Barcelona, Spain, and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. The itineraries will include destinations such as Provence (Marseille), France; Naples, Italy; and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Later in the year, the Icon-class ship will reposition across the Atlantic before beginning Caribbean cruises in November 2026. From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, it will offer six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries.
