Royal Caribbean Unveils Family Cruises on Legend of the Seas

Royal Caribbean has revealed an exciting lineup of new family-friendly cruises aboard the Legend of the Seas, featuring enhanced dining concepts, Broadway-caliber entertainment, and a range of immersive onboard experiences.

“With the Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries with more of what guests know and love,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean.

According to the company’s press release, bookings for July 2025 sailings are now open on the cruise line’s website.

Elevated Dining Experiences

Guests can enjoy 28 diverse dining venues, including:

  • Royal Railway – Legend Station, a five-course culinary “train journey” inspired by the Silk Road travels of Marco Polo.
  • Hollywoodland Supper Club, a glamorous new venue evoking the golden age of Hollywood with live jazz, cocktails, and a multi-course dinner.
  • AquaDome Market, a reimagined global food hall featuring five all-day food stands.
  • Family favorites such as Surfside Eatery, Basecamp, Chops Grille, Izumi, and Hooked Seafood will also return.

Entertainment And Nightlife

Evening activities will include:

  • A Broadway-style production of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
  • Spectacular AquaTheater performances at the ship’s AquaDome neighborhood, showcasing high divers, aerialists, robots, and dancers.
  • More than 20 bars, lounges, and live music venues offering entertainment for every taste.

Activities And Onboard Highlights

Families can explore six waterslides at Category 6, try Crown’s Edge, challenge themselves at Adrenaline Peak, or enjoy the Lost Dunes mini-golf course. Younger guests will love the redesigned Playscape and the ship’s seven pools.

The ship also features iconic Royal Caribbean spaces, including the Royal Promenade, Central Park, The Pearl, Suite Neighborhood, and the Ultimate Family Townhouse.

Global Itineraries

In summer 2026, the Legend of the Seas will sail seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia), visiting destinations such as Marseille, Naples, and Palma de Mallorca.

By November 2026, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries featuring stops in Aruba, Curaçao, and Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

With its new culinary concepts, family activities, and global itineraries, the Legend of the Seas promises an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.
