Royal Caribbean International has confirmed that Quantum of the Seas will return to Singapore for the 2027-28 winter season.

According to a press release, the ship will operate a range of three- to ten-night cruises across Southeast Asia between October 2027 and March 2028. These itineraries will include calls to destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Japan, sailing from what the company described as one of Asia’s most well-connected cruise hubs.

“The Quantum of the Seas has become a familiar and much-loved ship for guests across Asia, and we’re excited to bring these thrilling adventures back to Singapore,” said Chad Grospe, vice president and managing director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean.

“With these 2027-28 holidays, we’re building on the strong demand we’ve seen over past seasons – from three- and four-night getaways to longer adventures that connect vacationers to spectacular landscapes, cuisines and cultural wonders around Asia.”

Shorter sailings of three to five nights will focus on Southeast Asia, with ports including:

  • George Town, Penang
  • Bangkok, Thailand
  • Phuket, Thailand

Longer voyages of up to ten nights will take guests further afield, with destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Hong Kong. Additional itineraries will head to Japan, visiting cities including Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kobe.

Royal Caribbean also highlighted the ship’s onboard features. Built by Meyer Werft and launched in 2014, Quantum of the Seas offers a variety of attractions aimed at adventure-focused travelers.

These include:

  • Ripcord by iFly skydiving simulator
  • FlowRider surf simulator
  • Rock-climbing wall

The ship, which accommodates 4,222 passengers, also features a wide selection of dining venues, including Chops Grille steakhouse, Chef’s Table, and Izumi Sushi.

Quantum will take over from Navigator of the Seas, which is scheduled to operate from Singapore during the 2026-27 winter season. The Voyager-class vessel will offer cruises departing from Marina Bay Cruise Center between October 2026 and March 2027, before the Quantum-class ship returns the following year.
