Royal Princess Set for Southeast Asia Debut in 2026

Princess Cruises has revealed that the Royal Princess will sail in Southeast Asia for the first time in October 2026.
Built in 2013, the 3,560-passenger ship will operate two voyages from Singapore that month, bridging its deployment between Alaska and Australia. Ports of call will include destinations across Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Following its summer season in Alaska, the Royal Princess will reposition via a 26-night “Southeast Asia, Japan and Alaska Grand Adventure Cruise,” departing Seattle on September 19, 2026. The lengthy itinerary features stops in Juneau, College Fjord, Whittier, Hubbard Glacier, Shimizu, Osaka, Keelung, and Hong Kong before concluding in Singapore.
Once in Singapore, the ship will undergo a two-week drydock at a local yard before embarking on its first regional sailing on November 1, 2025. That nine-night roundtrip cruise includes an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City, plus visits to Ko Samui and Bangkok.
The vessel will then continue with a 15-night repositioning voyage to Sydney, calling at Lombok, Darwin, Yorkeys Knob, and Brisbane. Passengers can also combine both itineraries into a 24-night journey from Southeast Asia to Australia.
Princess also highlighted additional deployments for Singapore, including the Discovery Princess, which will debut there this October with a five-night sailing to Malaysia ahead of her 2025-26 Australia season.
Meanwhile, the Diamond Princess is set to arrive in Singapore in December, offering a series of ten- and 12-night cruises to Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Looking further ahead, both the Diamond Princess and the Sapphire Princess will be based in Singapore for the 2026-27 winter before heading to Japan for summer 2027 operations.
