The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal has wrapped up a successful summer season, marking another important period for Queensland’s cruise sector.

According to Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd, the terminal hosted 101 cruise ship visits between October 2025 and March 2026, including five first-time calls.

Passenger numbers were also notable, with around 519,300 passenger movements recorded during the six-month season. The terminal also reached a key milestone, celebrating its 500th cruise call since opening in June 2022, underscoring its rapid growth as a major regional hub.

Smooth Operations Behind the Scenes

More than 130 staff members contributed to the smooth running of operations throughout the season. This included port teams and frontline personnel responsible for ensuring efficient and safe ship turnarounds.

Year-Round Cruise Activity

Although the summer cruise season has now ended, activity at the terminal will continue. Ships are scheduled to keep calling throughout the year, with itineraries extending into the cooler months.
