TAG Heuer Hosts Monaco Grand Prix Event at Sea
Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer, known for its long-standing association with motorsport and Formula 1, hosted one of the most exclusive gatherings of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend aboard the luxury expedition ship Le Dumont-d’Urville.
Operated by French cruise line Ponant, *Le Dumont-d’Urville *was converted into a floating hospitality venue while berthed in Monaco’s famous Port Hercule. The vessel served as the setting for TAG Heuer’s VIP celebration, attracting guests from the worlds of motorsport, entertainment, fashion and business.
The event was part of TAG Heuer’s enhanced involvement in the Monaco Grand Prix, following its role as title partner of the prestigious race. Attendees enjoyed gourmet cuisine, live entertainment and premium views of both the Formula 1 circuit and Monaco’s harbor.
Le Dumont-d’Urville is one of Ponant’s Explorer-class ships, built for luxury expedition cruising. The vessel accommodates up to 184 guests and offers upscale suites, fine dining venues, lounges and a marina platform that provides direct access to the sea.
The use of the ship as an event venue highlighted the increasing connection between luxury cruising and major international sporting events. Surrounded by Monaco’s renowned superyachts, Le Dumont-d’Urville offered a distinctive backdrop for one of the most high-profile social events of the Grand Prix weekend.
