Voyager of the Seas Debuts Alaska Season From Seattle
Royal Caribbean International’s *Voyager of the Seas *arrived in Seattle in May to begin its first-ever season sailing in Alaska.
As part of its summer deployment, the 1999-built vessel is now operating a series of seven-night cruises from its new Pacific Northwest homeport. The ship is scheduled to offer two different weeklong itineraries through early October, including the “Alaska Experience” cruise. Sailing roundtrip from Seattle, this itinerary includes visits to Juneau, Skagway and Sitka, along with a stop in Victoria, British Columbia.
The second option, the “Alaska Adventure” itinerary, also operates as a seven-night roundtrip voyage from Seattle and features calls in Juneau, Skagway and Victoria.
In addition, guests can enjoy scenic cruising through Endicott Arm and past Dawes Glacier before returning to Seattle.
Following the conclusion of its inaugural Alaska season, Voyager of the Seas will reposition to the U.S. West Coast. The 3,430-passenger vessel will join Ovation of the Seas in offering cruises ranging from three to eight nights to destinations in the Mexican Riviera and Baja California. These itineraries include visits to ports such as Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Ensenada and Catalina Island, as well as overnight stays in Cabo San Lucas.
Voyager of the Seas is one of four Royal Caribbean ships currently operating in Alaska. The cruise line’s Alaska fleet also includes Quantum-class vessels Anthem of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas, along with the Radiance-class Serenade of the Seas. Together, the ships offer itineraries from Seattle, Vancouver and Seward, visiting popular destinations including Skagway, Sitka and Icy Strait Point.
Voyager of the Seas is scheduled to return to Seattle for a second Alaska season in 2027. It will be joined by Quantum of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas.
