Amangati to Debut With Helipads and Curated Shore Access
The upcoming Amangati will feature two helipads when it enters service for Aman at Sea in the Mediterranean in 2027.
Information on the company’s website notes that the helicopter landing facilities were created to allow smooth arrivals and departures, which can be arranged upon request. Aman at Sea said the helicopter service will enable guests to transfer to nearby airports or access more remote coastal locations.
The company added that ship-to-helicopter transfers were designed to be “fluid and unhurried.” It has not been confirmed whether Amangati will operate its own helicopters.
As previously reported, shore excursions will not be included in Aman at Sea’s base fare. Instead, the company’s website states that a curated selection of experiences will be offered in each destination. The tours are described as illuminative in unique and unforgettable ways.”
According to Aman at Sea, the excursions “reveal the authentic soul” of each location, with private experiences also available upon request.
Amangati is scheduled to enter service in spring 2027, operating a range of Mediterranean itineraries. The 94-guest vessel is currently under construction at Italy’s T. Mariotti shipyard and will offer five- to eight-night voyages to destinations including Spain, the Dalmatian Coast, and the French Riviera.
While excursions are excluded from the base fare, Aman at Sea will include additional amenities such as Starlink Wi-Fi and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests will also benefit from unpacking and packing assistance, daily laundry and pressing, personalized in-cabin beverage service, and housekeeping twice per day.
In addition, Amangati will be available for private charters in the Mediterranean, which the company described as a “unique way to host events.”
Aman at Sea added that onboard spaces were designed to encourage connection, while also providing private areas for “intimate gatherings and moments of reflection.”
