AmaWaterways Unveils 2025 Festive Holiday Cruises

AmaWaterways has revealed details of its 2025 Holiday Cruises, offering limited availability for its “Christmas Markets Cruises” and “Festive Delights Cruises,” with select New Year’s Eve sailings giving travelers the chance to celebrate in Europe’s riverside towns.

According to a press release, guests who book by October 31, 2025, can save up to $2,500 per stateroom and receive up to two complimentary nights in Europe on select New Year’s cruises. The promotion applies to new bookings only.

Christmas & Festive Experiences

The line’s Christmas Markets itineraries highlight Europe’s seasonal traditions along the Danube and Rhine, including the “Iconic Christmas Markets” voyage departing December 17–24, 2025.

The “Festive Delights Cruises” combine onboard celebrations with local holiday customs in picturesque river towns. Guests can expect tree decorating, caroling, and a New Year’s Eve gala on certain departures.

Featured Sailings

Sailings are available across the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Belgium, and along the Rhine and Danube rivers. Highlights include:

  • “Enticing Douro – Festive Delights” (Dec. 16–23, 2025; Dec. 19–26, 2025)
  • “Flavors of Portugal & Spain – Festive Delights” (Dec. 13–20, 2025; Dec. 20–27, 2025)
  • “Taste of Bordeaux – Festive Delights” (Nov. 27–Dec. 4, 2025; Dec. 4–11, 2025)

Special New Year’s Eve sailings include:

  • “Colors of Provence” (Dec. 25, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026)
  • “Enchanting Rhine” (Dec. 25, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026)
  • “Best of Holland & Belgium” (Dec. 25, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026)

On select voyages, ships will be docked near cities hosting fireworks, allowing guests to ring in the new year with spectacular views.

Extra Nights In Europe

AmaWaterways is also offering up to two complimentary hotel nights in Europe on select New Year’s cruises. Travelers can enjoy a pre-cruise stay in a four- or five-star hotel, including breakfast and a transfer to the ship.

Depending on the itinerary, guests may extend their celebrations with an extra night onboard or enjoy a leisurely New Year’s Day with full meals before disembarking.
