Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled a new dining concept for passengers called “Express Dining.” Offered every evening, the option allows guests to enjoy a multi-course dinner in less than an hour. The experience is available for parties of up to six people and includes a streamlined version of the selections typically offered in the ship’s main dining room, the company said in a statement.

“Our guests continue to tell us they value greater flexibility in how they spend their time on board, and Express Dining was designed with that in mind,” said Carnival President Christine Duffy.

“Our pilot program generated positive feedback from our guests. With this in mind, we are excited to expand Express Dining to offer them the same high quality dishes and attentive service our dining rooms are known for, while giving guests the ability to use more of their time to enjoy all the other onboard fun.”

The dining option is currently available on 15 vessels, and Carnival stated that it expects the program to be rolled out across the entire fleet by the end of May.

Ships already offering Express Dining include Carnival Dream, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Radiance, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Glory, Carnival Freedom and Mardi Gras.
