Celebrity Cruises Earns Forbes Five-Star Restaurant at Sea

Celebrity Cruises has made history as the first major cruise line to receive a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for a restaurant at sea, a significant milestone for the cruise industry worldwide.

The honor was awarded to Le Voyage, the brand’s signature fine-dining restaurant aboard Celebrity Xcel, developed in collaboration with renowned chef Daniel Boulud.

With this recognition, Le Voyage joins an exclusive group of highly rated restaurants around the world, demonstrating that onboard cruise dining can now match the highest international culinary standards.

The restaurant offers a globally inspired menu influenced by Chef Boulud’s travels and culinary background. Each dish draws on flavors and techniques from different regions, creating a multicultural dining experience without guests having to leave the ship.

Le Voyage’s concept centers on premium ingredients, precise preparation, and attentive, personalized service, all of which align with the rigorous criteria required for Forbes Travel Guide’s top rating.

The award further strengthens Celebrity Cruises’ growing relationship with Forbes Travel Guide. In 2023, the company became the first cruise line to earn a Forbes Star Rating. Since then, multiple Celebrity ships, along with the line’s Fine Cut Steakhouse, have also received recognition, highlighting the brand’s emphasis on high-end hospitality and dining.

Celebrity Cruises attributed the achievement to the combined efforts of its onboard and shoreside teams, including culinary staff, service crews, and operational departments responsible for maintaining consistent standards.
