Celebrity Cruises is reaching out to guests booked on the Celebrity Millennium’s March 16, 2026, sailing with incentives for those open to modifying or cancelling their travel plans.

In a recent announcement, the cruise line is offering compensation options to passengers who are willing to give up their current reservations.

“We are looking to see if you and your travel party have flexible travel plans. If your plans are set in stone, please disregard this email, and we look forward to sailing with you soon,” Celebrity stated.

“If your travel plans are flexible, you may be able to take advantage of our special offer,” the company added.

The original 12-night itinerary aboard Celebrity Millennium departs roundtrip from Yokohama and includes stops in Osaka, Kochi, Hiroshima, Jeju, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, and Shimizu, along with three days at sea.

Guests willing to adjust their plans have two main options:

  1. Rebook for 2027 Travelers can shift their booking to the March 2, 2027, departure of Celebrity Millennium, which also sails roundtrip from Yokohama. This revised itinerary visits Osaka, Kochi, Busan, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, and Shimizu. Guests will be placed in a comparable stateroom and receive a 50% refund plus a $200 non-refundable onboard credit per stateroom.
  2. Cancel and Receive Credits Guests can choose to cancel their current reservation in exchange for a full refund and a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) worth 200% of the original fare. The FCC can be used toward any Celebrity cruise departing before March 16, 2027.

In both scenarios, Celebrity Cruises will reimburse up to $500 per stateroom in documented, non-refundable travel-related costs.

The Celebrity Millennium, which has been sailing year-round in Asia, entered service in 2000 and was built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France.
