Costa Cruises has revealed plans to enhance its winter 2025-26 schedule by introducing two fresh Mediterranean itineraries featuring the Costa Toscana.

According to earlier reports, this vessel will remain in Mediterranean waters rather than deploying to the Middle East, operating seven-day and extended voyages throughout Southern Europe and North Africa.

Starting in early January 2026, the Toscana will launch a 12-day journey from Savona, exploring Andalusia, Morocco, and Tunisia.

The itinerary includes calls at Marseille, Barcelona, Alicante, and Malaga. Passengers will traverse the Strait of Gibraltar to visit Tangier, experiencing the Kasbah and Cape Spartel promontory. As evening falls, the vessel will navigate to Alboran Sea Darkest Spot.

Key experiences in La Goulette (Tunis) encompass ancient Carthage ruins, the Medina, plus visits to Palermo and Civitavecchia (Rome) before returning to Savona, with Naples added as an extra port for the January 2 sailing.

During December 2025, Costa Toscana will operate weekly cruises from Savona with ports in Italy, France, and Spain.

The cruise line noted that Costa Smeralda will similarly run seven-day Western Mediterranean voyages from Genoa, calling at Marseille, Barcelona, Balearic Sea Darkest Spot, Cagliari, Naples, and Civitavecchia (Rome).

Costa will additionally provide three- and four-day Western Mediterranean cruises using Costa Favolosa.

Beginning December 2025, both Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica will operate five weekly itineraries on an alternating basis, allowing combination into a single 14-day vacation.

The "flight and cruise" program features departures from Point-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), or Fort-de-France (Martinique) for Costa Fascinosa, while Costa Pacifica embarks from La Romana (Dominican Republic).

Costa Fascinosa will present three different routes. The initial routing features destinations like Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Santo Domingo, exclusive Catalina Island, and Fort-de-France in Martinique.

The second voyage visits the Netherlands Antilles, calling at Philipsburg, Basseterre, and Santo Domingo once more, reaching Saint Lucia on Christmas Day.

The third itinerary returns to Tortola, Santo Domingo, and Fort-de-France, concluding in St. John's for New Year's Eve celebrations aboard ship in Antigua and Barbuda.

Costa Pacifica will voyage to the Dominican Republic, visiting Samanà, Amber Cove, and Catalina Island, plus a second route covering six Caribbean destinations, including Tortola and Saint Lucia.

Concentrating on the Canary Islands, Costa Fortuna will provide seven-day cruises departing Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, accessible through the flight + cruise package. Routes feature Madeira, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, La Gomera, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria.

In Asia, Costa Serena will execute two distinct 14-day itineraries that can be linked for extended holidays, with flights from Italy to explore Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines.

The program concludes with Costa Deliziosa's World Cruise, setting sail from Trieste on November 21, 2025. This 142-day expedition will navigate South America, Polynesia, Australia, Asia, and the Indian Ocean.
