Crane Topples at Tuas Port During Delivery, No Injuries

A newly delivered quay crane toppled over at Singapore’s Tuas port on Sunday afternoon while being positioned at an inactive berth. The incident occurred during the crane’s transfer process and did not involve any active operational areas.
Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the mishap. Nearby port infrastructure and equipment did not sustain any damage, and PSA Singapore confirmed that all functioning berths remain completely accessible. Regular port activities and ongoing development at Tuas have not been affected by the event.
Footage posted to the Facebook group Safety Watch shows the crane falling and stirring up a large cloud of dust upon impact. In the background, a bystander can be heard repeatedly stating in Mandarin, “The crane has collapsed.”
