Disney Adventure Arrives in Singapore to Fireworks
Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest vessel, the Disney Adventure, made a dramatic arrival in Singapore as she sailed into Marina Bay Cruise Centre accompanied by a spectacular nighttime fireworks display.
The ship reached Singapore on the evening of March 3, 2026, marking an important milestone for the cruise line. It is the first time a Disney cruise ship will be homeported in Asia, and the moment was celebrated with a characteristically grand Disney welcome.
As the vessel approached the terminal, water cannons delivered a traditional maritime salute while fireworks illuminated the iconic Marina Bay skyline. Crowds gathered along the waterfront to witness the arrival, cheering and capturing photos as the ship slowly entered the harbor.
Celebrations continued on land with an official welcome ceremony attended by Disney cast members and industry partners, marking the conclusion of the ship’s long journey to its new homeport.
For Disney Cruise Line, the ship’s arrival represents a significant move in expanding its footprint in the Asian cruise market and introducing the Disney cruise experience to a broader regional audience.
The Disney Adventure is currently the biggest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The vessel measures more than 342 meters in length and has the capacity to accommodate approximately 6,700 passengers.
Onboard, guests will discover a variety of themed spaces inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. The ship also features new attractions, entertainment venues, and family-focused experiences designed with the Asian market in mind.
The ship will be based in Singapore for at least the next five years. Beginning with its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026, Adventure will operate a series of three- and four-night cruises departing from the city.
Tourism authorities say the arrival of the vessel provides a significant boost to Singapore’s cruise sector and further reinforces the city’s reputation as one of Asia’s leading cruise hubs.
