Dubai-Based Mayborne Bulk Launches New Shipping Venture

A new dry bulk shipping company has been established in Dubai by two experienced figures from the maritime industry.

Mayborne Bulk was founded by Jesper Lollesgaard and Parikshit Sial. The company will follow an asset-light strategy, focusing on chartering vessels rather than owning them, while gradually developing a commercially managed fleet. Its initial focus will be on the handy, supramax, and ultramax dry bulk segments.

Announcing the launch, Managing Partner Jesper Lollesgaard described the venture as the beginning of a new entrepreneurial journey following more than 20 years of working alongside Sial.

“We are excited to launch this new venture and look forward to building a disciplined, data-driven dry bulk shipping business serving owners and charterers across the globe,” Lollesgaard said.

The new company has secured support from a group of strategic investors, including Dubai-based MINGroup.
