Fred. Olsen Partners with RWS Global for New Entertainment

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled a new partnership with renowned entertainment company RWS Global to elevate the onboard entertainment experience across its fleet. The collaboration aims to introduce a fresh, vibrant lineup of shows and activities beginning in 2026.
This development comes after extensive passenger feedback, as the cruise line seeks to better align its entertainment offerings with guest expectations. The first phase of the new daytime entertainment programme will launch aboard Bolette, Borealis, and Balmoral in February 2026, with a complete rollout across the fleet planned by September.
The updated lineup will include an array of themed events and stage productions spanning musical theatre, rock, pop, disco, Latin, and country genres. Passengers can also anticipate interactive game shows, culinary and beverage experiences, and light entertainment that preserve Fred. Olsen’s hallmark of traditional charm and personalized service.
“This exciting investment has come as a direct result of listening to our guests,” said Samantha Stimpson, CEO of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. “We’re committed to delivering more choice and enjoyment, while maintaining the timeless pleasures that define cruising with us.”
As part of the collaboration, RWS Global will act as the cruise line’s full-service entertainment partner, overseeing the design and delivery of the onboard experience. Ryan Stana, Chairman and CEO of RWS Global, said the goal is to merge tradition with innovation:
“By leveraging our global resources, we’ll deliver more memorable moments and greater value for Fred. Olsen guests.”
