Holland America Line has announced nearly three dozen new itineraries for the 2027–28 season, covering destinations including Hawaii, Mexico, the Panama Canal, and the Pacific Coast, according to a company press release.

The expanded program highlights longer port calls in Honolulu and deeper exploration of Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. Sailings will be offered aboard Koningsdam, Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Zaandam.

Cruises are scheduled to operate between October and April, departing from five different North American homeports.

“Whether guests are chasing the sun in Hawaii or seeking the rugged, untouched beauty of the Great Bear Rainforest, this season truly has something for every type of cruiser,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of itinerary planning and deployment for Holland America Line.

“Across each distinct region, guests can immerse themselves in the moments that bring these destinations to life — whether that’s learning the meaning behind island traditions through Hawaii Up Close, spotting some of the 300 bird species that thrive in Tortuguero National Park, or tasting regionally inspired dishes made possible through Destination Dining™ and our Global Fresh Fish Program.”

Hawaii itineraries for the 2027–28 season range from 17 to 18 days and include extended stays in Honolulu. The cruises also feature visits to natural landmarks such as Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, black-sand beaches, lush rainforests, and the “Land of Frozen Fire.”

Shore experiences will cover topics including agriculture, local history, native arts, and geology, along with nighttime stargazing, luaus, and island-inspired entertainment.

Panama Canal sailings span 14 to 22 days and allow guests to transit the Gatun, Pedro Miguel, and Miraflores Locks, showcasing one of the world’s most complex engineering achievements set amid tropical rainforest.

These voyages also include visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites, Mayan ruins, wildlife sanctuaries, volcano trekking, and cultural experiences throughout Central America.

Mexico-focused itineraries range from short warm-weather getaways to more detailed exploration of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez.

Cruises lasting between seven and 12 days will feature destinations along the Mexican Riviera, the Baja Peninsula, and several UNESCO-designated natural areas.

The Pacific Coast program includes voyages lasting from one to seven days, with the Great Bear Rainforest itinerary returning in 2028 on roundtrip sailings from Vancouver.

These cruises will highlight wildlife encounters, British Columbia’s fjord-like coastal passages, and port visits along the U.S. West Coast, including California and the Pacific Northwest.
