The Port of Le Havre in France marked its first ship-to-ship bunkering operation on August 28, following the terminal’s LNG-ready certification earlier this year in June.

The operation was conducted by the bunkering vessel Gas Agility, which supplied 2,400 cubic meters of LNG to the Ro-Ro ship Lake Travis over a 12-hour period.

The successful refueling was made possible through close coordination between Total Energies, terminal operators, Haropa Port teams, shipping agencies, and the crews of both vessels.

The LNG-ready certification confirms that the terminal has standardized its operations to serve LNG-powered ships. It also demonstrates that its safety measures, operational procedures, and staff training have been upgraded to align with international safety requirements.
