MSC Cruises has unveiled a comprehensive upgrade to its specialty dining program across its entire fleet, introducing fixed-price menus and flexible dining packages aimed at enhancing guest convenience, value, and customization.

This revamp is intended to simplify the onboard culinary experience, making it more accessible and transparent while giving passengers greater control over their dining options.

As part of the overhaul, every specialty restaurant on board will now offer a single fixed-price menu. Guests will be able to choose at least one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert from the menu, with select premium dishes—such as Ozaki Wagyu beef—available for an added cost.

Key Features of the New Dining Experience:

  • Fixed-Price Menus: A streamlined fee structure that gives guests full access to specialty menus for a single price, enhancing value and convenience.
  • Advance Purchase Discounts: Those who book dining packages before their cruise can enjoy savings of up to 20%.
  • Flexible Dining Packages: Guests can now purchase packages in advance that cover one to four specialty dining experiences, with the option to revisit their favorite restaurants.

Georg Schmickler, senior vice president of onboard revenues at MSC Cruises, stated:

“With increasing demand from our guests for flexibility, transparency, and personalization, this upgrade further strengthens our culinary product, offering today’s cruisers what they expect and deserve.”

Stéphane Franchini, senior director of food and beverage product, added:

“Simplified single-price menus mean greater transparency for guests, and customizable packages add flexibility to create a seamless dining experience for our guests. With these enhancements, MSC Cruises continues to redefine dining at sea, offering guests an unforgettable gastronomic journey with world-class cuisine and ultimate versatility.”

These updated offerings are now open for booking, with more improvements expected to be announced in the future.
