MSC Euribia Prepares for Return to Cruise Service
MSC Euribia is currently docked in Valletta’s Grand Harbour as it gets ready to resume normal cruise operations after several weeks of disruption.
After recently passing through the Suez Canal, the vessel is now focused on final preparations ahead of welcoming passengers again. Its stop in Malta is being used to rebuild the crew and restock supplies before the start of the summer season.
A significant number of crew members are joining the ship in Valletta, covering departments such as housekeeping, galley, guest services, and technical operations. The aim is to return the vessel to full staffing levels so it can operate at full capacity.
At the same time, the ship is taking on provisions. This includes food, beverages, hotel supplies, and fuel required for upcoming sailings. These preparations are essential to ensure everything is ready before guests come onboard.
The MSC Euribia had remained in the Persian Gulf for several weeks due to regional tensions, operating under limited conditions. Now back in the Mediterranean, attention has shifted to getting the ship fully ready for service.
Once preparations in Malta are complete, the vessel will sail to Kiel. The first passengers are expected to board on May 16, with additional guests joining on May 17 in Copenhagen. The stop in Malta represents the final stage before MSC Euribia returns to regular cruise operations in Northern Europe.
