MSC to Deploy Six Cruise Ships from U.S. Ports in 2027

MSC Cruises has announced that six of its cruise ships will be sailing from various U.S. ports during the summer of 2027, expanding its North American presence significantly.
Leading the lineup is MSC World America, which will continue its deployment from Miami, where it was officially named earlier this year. The 205,800-ton ship will be joined by five others offering sailings from PortMiami, Port Canaveral, Galveston, and Seattle.
PortMiami
Both MSC World America and MSC Seaside will operate out of Miami for the 2027 summer season.
- MSC World America will alternate between seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
- MSC Seaside will offer short getaways, including three- and four-night sailings to the Bahamas. Most itineraries will feature a stop at MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay.
Port Canaveral
From Port Canaveral, MSC Grandiosa and MSC Seashore will sail throughout the season.
- MSC Grandiosa, which made its Florida debut in late 2025, will offer seven-night cruises to various Caribbean destinations.
- MSC Seashore is scheduled to sail three- and four-night Bahamas cruises, with Ocean Cay as a highlight on each route.
Galveston
The MSC Seascape, which is moving to its new Texas homeport this year, will remain in Galveston through summer 2027.
- The ship will depart weekly on Sundays, offering seven-night Western Caribbean cruises with stops in Mexico and Honduras.
Seattle
Having launched MSC’s Alaska program in 2026, the MSC Poesia will return to Seattle for a second consecutive Alaska season in 2027.
- Detailed itineraries for Poesia’s summer sailings will be released at a later date.
This multi-port deployment reinforces MSC Cruises’ ongoing investment in the U.S. market, offering a wide range of sailing options from East Coast, Gulf Coast, and West Coast ports.
