P&O Cruises’ Ventura Enters Drydock Ahead of Caribbean Voyage
P&O Cruises’ Ventura is currently in drydock at Damen Shipyard in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The ship concluded its regular schedule in Southampton on February 7, 2026, and arrived at the shipyard the following day to begin planned maintenance work.
After completing the drydock, Ventura is scheduled to return to service on February 27, 2026, when it will welcome guests aboard for a 35-night voyage to the Caribbean and the United States. The extended cruise is set to include calls at Port Canaveral and Miami, along with a two-day stay in New Orleans. In the Caribbean, the itinerary features visits to Cozumel, Belize, Roatán, and Freeport, as well as a stop in Freeport in the Bahamas.
The 3,100-passenger vessel is also expected to call at La Coruña in Spain and Praia da Vitória in the Azores during the voyage.
In September 2025, P&O Cruises cancelled a short sailing that had been planned shortly after the drydock when Ventura was originally scheduled to operate a four-night cruise departing on February 23, 2026. At the time, the cruise line said the sailing was no longer possible due to an extension of the ship’s required refit. That itinerary was set to sail to the Netherlands and included an overnight call in Amsterdam.
Following its return to Southampton in early April, Ventura will begin a series of cruises around Northern Europe and the Canary Islands. These itineraries feature a wide range of destinations, including Santander, Vigo, Zeebrugge, Funchal, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
