PortMiami to Welcome 10 New Cruise Ships in 2025-26
PortMiami has revealed plans to welcome 10 new cruise ships, including five brand-new vessels, for the 2025–2026 cruise season, strengthening its position as one of the world’s busiest cruise hubs.
Beginning in October 2025, several major cruise lines will debut new ships from the Miami port. Among the first to set sail will be Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady.
According to a press release, November will bring the arrival of Holland America’s Zuiderdam, Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Xcel, and Oceania Cruises’ Allura, followed by MSC Cruises’ Grandiosa in December.
The lineup continues into 2026, featuring:
- Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker in January
- Holland America’s Eurodam in February
- Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Luna in March
- Silversea Cruises’ Silver Nova in May
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said, “The arrival of these new ships reinforces Miami’s role as the global hub for cruising, and reflects our strong commitment to growing tourism, supporting jobs and strengthening our local economy.”
She added that PortMiami remains dedicated to delivering world-class service for millions of passengers each year while focusing on sustainable growth and innovation to maintain its standing as a premier homeport for the global cruise industry.
The port also noted several record-breaking achievements during the 2024–2025 season, including its busiest cruise passenger day on April 20, 2025, when 72,401 guests passed through the terminal, and hosting 10 cruise ships on a single day, February 8, 2025 - both milestones in its history.
“We are excited to welcome these new ships and their passengers to Miami,” said Hydi Webb, PortMiami’s Director and CEO. “Each new arrival underscores the strong partnerships we’ve built with our cruise lines and reaffirms Miami’s role as the world’s premier cruise destination.”
Webb added, “We look forward to providing our guests with a seamless travel experience and a warm South Florida welcome. The 2025–26 cruise season looks to be another exciting year.”
