Royal Caribbean Adds Year-Round Cruises in Latin America

Royal Caribbean International is set to strengthen its footprint in Latin America by launching year-round cruises from Colombia and Panama starting in 2026.
According to the cruise line’s recently released itinerary schedule, the Jewel of the Seas will be based in the region for 11 months beginning in May 2026.
This deployment marks a handover from the ship’s sister vessel, Serenade of the Seas, which will operate from Colombia and Panama during the 2025–2026 season.
Both Radiance-class ships will sail seven-night Southern Caribbean voyages departing from Cartagena, Colombia, and Colón, Panama. The routes include stops at the ABC Islands—Aruba (Oranjestad), Bonaire (Kralendijk), and Curaçao (Willemstad).
Once Jewel of the Seas arrives in Latin America in May 2026, it is expected to remain in service there until April 2027.
Royal Caribbean made its return to the Latin American market in the 2023–2024 season with Rhapsody of the Seas after nearly a decade away. Following a brief break in 2024–2025, the company will restart operations in the region with the larger Serenade of the Seas in October 2025.
The 2,146-passenger ship is scheduled to spend six months in Latin America, concluding its season in late May 2026.
In addition to its offerings from Colombia, Panama, and U.S. ports, Royal Caribbean continues to operate Southern Caribbean sailings departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
