Star Clippers has revealed that the Royal Clipper will sail a new Adriatic itinerary in the summer of 2026, offering guests an in-depth journey through the coastal beauty and cultural heritage of Croatia, Montenegro, and Italy.

The seven-night “Croatia and Montenegro” voyage will highlight lesser-visited ports and historic towns, giving travelers the chance to discover authentic local culture away from traditional tourist hotspots, according to a company press release.

Departing roundtrip from Venice every Saturday between June 27 and August 22, 2026, fares for the sailing begin at $2,570 per person, based on double occupancy.

Cruise Highlights

In Croatia, guests will visit Šibenik, a charming Adriatic town rich in history; Vis (Komiza), founded in 397 B.C. and home to unspoiled beaches; and Rovinj, renowned for its churches, monuments, and old-world atmosphere. The itinerary also includes Dubrovnik, famous for its 10th-century city walls and vibrant cultural scene.

In Montenegro, travelers will explore Kotor, an ancient Roman and Byzantine-era town nestled along the Adriatic coast. Known as “cat city,” Kotor’s many resident cats have become a beloved symbol of the city’s culture and charm.

In Italy, guests will call at Pesaro, a seaside destination recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Music and the birthplace of 19th-century opera composer Gioachino Rossini. Visitors can explore Rossini’s museum and historic home, as well as centuries-old cathedrals and churches.
