Disney Cruise Line has revealed that a new Spider-Man statue has been installed on the stern of its upcoming ship, Disney Destiny. The announcement was made via social media, generating excitement among Marvel fans and future cruisers.

In a recent Facebook post, the company shared: “Spider-Man has swung onto the #DisneyDestiny’s stern, and it’s nothing short of amazing! Drop in the comments to celebrate your friendly neighborhood hero at sea.”

The Disney Destiny, currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, first touched water in March. The vessel is expected to be delivered in late 2025.

Beginning in November 2025, the ship will sail year-round from Fort Lauderdale, offering four- and five-night voyages to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

The Disney Destiny will showcase a variety of Marvel-themed experiences onboard. Highlights include a Grand Hall inspired by Black Panther, a Doctor Strange-themed entertainment parlor, and an exclusive tower suite celebrating Iron Man.

The addition of Spider-Man to the ship’s exterior adds another layer of excitement to what is shaping up to be a Marvel fan’s dream at sea.
