Celebrity Solstice Debuts Major Upgrades in Singapore
Celebrity Solstice departed Singapore on March 2 after completing a refurbishment project that began in mid-January. According to Celebrity Cruises, the upgraded ship now offers eight new experiences, including four completely new venues.
“Celebrity Solstice launched our Solstice Series ships and defined a generation of Celebrity Cruises travel. This reimagination honors that heritage while setting a new standard for what an elevated vacation can be,” said Celebrity President Laura Hodges Bethge.
“Every new experience was designed around how our guests want to spend their time, backed by the unmatched hospitality that defines every Celebrity Cruises sailing.”
All existing staterooms onboard have been refreshed, and the ship has added 54 new accommodations, increasing the total number of cabins to 1,479.
The renovation also introduced four new stateroom categories:
- Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite
- Two Panoramic Ocean View Suite categories
- Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View
Guests staying in The Retreat, the ship’s suite-only area, will now enjoy a new private sundeck featuring an oversized hot tub, dedicated outdoor seating areas, and a redesigned exclusive lounge.
AquaClass accommodations, designed with wellness in mind, have also been upgraded. New features include spa-inspired amenities such as massaging shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, yoga mats, premium robes and slippers, and a pillow selection menu.
The refurbishment added two new dining venues: Trattoria Rossa introduces Roman and Southern Italian dishes, while Fine Cut Steakhouse serves 30-day dry-aged steaks alongside fresh seafood options.
Another addition is Sunset Park, a new outdoor space located on the ship’s top deck. The area offers a mix of activities, including yoga sessions, lawn games, and live music. Nearby, the Sunset Park Café provides casual bistro-style meals for breakfast and lunch. The expanded Sunset Bar complements the space with a menu of handcrafted cocktails.
Two new entertainment areas have also been introduced. Boulevard Lounge is a 125-seat venue hosting a range of daily entertainment, including piano performances, karaoke, and interactive game shows.
The Parlor offers a relaxed sports and gaming atmosphere, where guests can play billiards, darts, and classic board games or watch live sports on large screens.
Looking ahead to 2026, Celebrity Solstice will sail across several regions including Asia, Australia, and Alaska during the summer season.
Later in the year, the ship will embark on a 110-night Grand Voyage starting on September 13, 2026. The itinerary includes visits to more than 55 unique ports across Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. The journey will conclude with the ship arriving in Hong Kong on New Year’s Eve.
