Star Princess Crew Earns British Butler Certification

Princess Cruises has unveiled its highly anticipated Sanctuary Collection aboard the new Star Princess, blending luxury comfort with world-class hospitality. Alongside this launch, the ship’s crew celebrated a prestigious achievement - official certification from the British Butler Institute, underscoring Princess Cruises’ ongoing dedication to elevated guest service.
The Sanctuary Collection Launch
First announced on April 23, 2024, the Sanctuary Collection introduces a “ship-within-a-ship” experience designed to offer guests enhanced privacy, tranquility, and sophistication. Following the debut of the concept on the Sun Princess in late 2024, the Star Princess became the second vessel in the fleet to feature it, officially joining the program on October 4, 2025.
A Prestigious Milestone for the Crew
In a ceremony held at The Piazza, the vibrant central hub of the ship, the Star Princess team received certification from the British Butler Institute, a globally recognized leader in elite hospitality training. Captain Gennaro Arma attended the event, commending the crew for their dedication and professionalism.
The certification marks a key step in Princess Cruises’ mission to deliver service that complements the serene and refined atmosphere of the Sanctuary Collection.
