StarCruises has introduced a new set of six weekend cruises aboard the Star Voyager, each offering a two-night escape from Hong Kong to Xiamen, departing on Fridays.

“We’re thrilled to introduce these exclusive weekend Xiamen cruises that give guests the chance to unwind and discover Xiamen without taking extra days off work, turning an ordinary weekend into something truly special,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises.

“The Star Voyager’s Hong Kong to Xiamen itinerary is designed to combine convenience, comfort and adventure, perfect for anyone looking to make the most of their weekends this fall. With only six departures, this exclusive journey offers something fresh, flexible and unforgettable,” he added.

These short voyages are designed to complement the brand’s existing “Weekend Sea-cation High Seas Cruises,” and will take the place of previously announced sailings on select dates.

Departing from Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, the available departure dates are:

  • September 19 and 26
  • October 3, 17, and 31
  • November 14

Each voyage returns on Sunday at 2:00 p.m., giving travelers a chance to enjoy a short but immersive escape without needing time off from work.

According to the cruise line, the Star Voyager sailings will offer:

  • Roundtrip two-night cruises departing Friday evenings and returning Sunday afternoons
  • Time to explore the vibrant city of Xiamen, known for its cultural sites, cuisine, and sightseeing
  • Onboard amenities including gourmet restaurants, spa treatments, sea-view lounges, and live performances
  • A hassle-free experience with no need for flights or airport transfers

Bookings for the Xiamen weekend cruises open on August 5, 2025, through the company’s official website. An Early Bird Promotion will run through September 15, 2025, with fares starting at HK$1,300 per person based on double occupancy.
