Viking Launches Savings Event With Discounts Through 2028
Viking has unveiled “The Viking Savings Event,” introducing new booking offers for travelers in North America across its portfolio of destination-focused cruises.
Running through January 31, 2026, the promotion includes savings of up to 35 percent on all-inclusive voyages, complimentary international airfare on select sailings, a $25 deposit across all itineraries, and extra incentives for past guests. The offers apply to a selection of river, ocean, and expedition cruises scheduled between 2026 and 2028.
In a press release, Viking highlighted several of its most popular itineraries included in the event:
“Grand European Tour”
15 days from Amsterdam to Budapest
Highlights include Rhine Valley vistas, the culinary delights of the Wachau Valley, the Viennese waltz, Melk’s Benedictine Abbey and Nuremberg’s World War II history.
“Romantic Danube”
Eight days from Regensburg to Budapest
Highlights include Salzburg, Göttweig Abbey, Wachau Valley, Vienna and Budapest’s thermal baths.
“Rhine Getaway”
Eight days from Amsterdam to Basel
Highlights include the Rhine River, the Middle Rhine, Alsace and Kinderdijk.
“Ancient Mediterranean Treasures”
Eight days from Istanbul to Athens (Piraeus)
Highlights include the Aegean Sea, Istanbul, Troy, Ephesus, Rhodes and Crete. Others include ancient Athens and the port of Piraeus during an overnight stay.
“Lyon & Provence”
Eight days from Avignon to Lyon
Highlights include the scenic Rhône River, the French countryside, Les Arènes d’Arles and the Pont du Gard, as well as the Gothic palace at Avignon’s Palace of the Popes and Lyon.
