Adora Cruises Launches Spring Festival Voyages from Shanghai
The Adora Magic City has departed Shanghai on a six-day, five-night voyage themed around the Spring Festival, sailing to Incheon and Jeju in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the Adora Mediterranea is set to sail at full capacity from Guangzhou on February 17, offering a six-day, five-night Lunar New Year “warm winter” cruise to Cam Ranh, Hue, and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
“This Spring Festival, we have ‘moved’ an authentic and vibrant Chinese New Year to the sea, bringing guests a celebration that is rich in tradition and lasting in memory,” Adora Cruises said in a statement.
“We continue to explore innovative ‘Cruise + Culture’ models, deeply integrating traditional customs and intangible cultural heritage experiences into the cruise journey. Our goal is to build Adora Cruises into a joyful, warm and culturally rich ‘New Year destination at sea.”
The company also confirmed that Astro Ocean Cruise’s Piano Land is scheduled to depart Hong Kong on February 15 for a five-day, four-night Spring Festival-themed sailing to Ha Long Bay.
Guests on these voyages can expect a range of special onboard activities, including lion dance performances, parades, live music, and hands-on cultural workshops. The festive experience will be further enhanced by specially curated Spring Festival menus and a selection of traditional Chinese snacks.
The Spring Festival sailings will continue through the Lantern Festival in March.
On March 1, the Adora Magic City will depart Shanghai on a five-day, four-night Lantern Festival-themed cruise to Jeju and Busan in South Korea. The following day, March 2, the Adora Mediterranea will sail from Guangzhou on a five-day, four-night Lantern Festival voyage to Hue, Vietnam.
These Lantern Festival cruises will also feature themed celebrations, including lantern fairs and lion dance-inspired parties, extending the festive atmosphere at sea.
