AIDA Cruises is now 29 years old, and the excitement is building for its milestone 30th anniversary celebration in 2026. The cruise line, which debuted its first vessel in Rostock on June 7, 1996, has since become a major force in the German cruise industry, known for its laid-back, energetic atmosphere.

To mark three decades at sea, AIDA is planning an unforgettable lineup of events for 2026:

  • "Best of AIDA" Cruise (April 2026): Sailing aboard AIDAdiva, this celebratory voyage will feature top German entertainers including Otto Waalkes, Beatrice Egli, Stefanie Heinzmann, and Mickie Krause. Expect a mix of live music, comedy, drag performances, and nonstop entertainment.
  • June 7, 2026 – Hamburg Ship Parade: A spectacular reunion is scheduled on the Elbe River, as sister ships AIDAsol, AIDAperla, and AIDAprima come together for a visual showcase in the port city of Hamburg.
  • Festival Cruise on AIDAprima (June 8–12, 2026): Just after the Hamburg event, AIDAprima will host a high-energy festival at sea featuring live acts, multiple performance stages, and non-stop partying throughout the voyage.
