AIDA has unveiled what guests can expect from its 2025 Christmas sailings, offering a variety of seasonal experiences across the fleet.

Festive Ambience Without the Stress

AIDAnova and AIDAprima will be transformed into winter-themed worlds complete with a maritime-style Christmas market. The remaining nine ships will also be decorated for the holidays.

AIDA said its culinary teams will serve festive menus, international specialties and classic favorites. Families will find a wide range of options to suit different tastes.

The company emphasized that onboard ambience and décor are fully handled by the crew, giving guests the freedom to enjoy meaningful moments without the usual holiday preparations or cleanup.

Santa at Sea

Christmas Eve will feature a special visit from Santa Claus, who will hand out gifts that children bring onboard. The Kids Club will also have additional surprises planned.

Guests can enjoy a full program including Christmas caroling, a festive gala, New Year’s Eve celebrations, rotating evening shows and creative workshops such as Froebel star crafting.

AIDAprima will offer a standout attraction: a 200-square-meter ice-skating rink illuminated with Christmas lights.

AIDA noted that guests seeking quiet moments can enjoy experiences like a cinnamon sauna infusion with sea views or treatments at the Body & Soul Spa.
“While the children get together at the Kids Club for the sleep story, adults can enjoy a walk on deck or a romantic dinner in the restaurant,” the company said.

Ringing in the New Year

On New Year’s Eve, ships across the fleet will offer live entertainment, themed shows and activities for younger guests. Dining highlights include a caviar buffet, midnight snacks and a generous New Year’s breakfast.
