Carnival Unveils ‘Funnel Faves’ to Celebrate Advisors

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced a new initiative called Funnel Faves, aimed at recognizing and supporting travel advisors—acknowledged by the company as essential to creating memorable cruise vacations. The campaign, which launched alongside the appointment of Janet Wygert as senior vice president of sales and trade marketing, will continue to grow throughout the year.

Program Launch Focuses on Appreciation and Support

In its announcement, Carnival explained that Funnel Faves is designed to thank its travel advisor partners while also providing tools and initiatives to help grow their businesses. The rollout features multiple opportunities for engagement, rewards, and professional development.

“Travel advisors are at the heart of great vacations. They are our best advocates. That’s the philosophy my team and I have championed as we’ve built meaningful partnerships with travel advisors over the years,” said Wygert.

She continued, “It’s important to us that our travel advisor partners are supported and celebrated, and that’s our guiding principle with this new program. Not only are travel advisors at the heart of great vacations, but they truly are at the heart of our sales and trade marketing team’s work.”

Wygert emphasized that this month-long kickoff signals more exciting developments on the horizon: “This month-long launch of Funnel Faves is a sign of more great things to come.”

New Initiatives, Promotions, and Rewards

To further enhance advisor support, Carnival is expanding its sales force by bringing on more field sales representatives, directors of strategic partnerships, and charters meeting and incentives professionals.

The Funnel Faves campaign will also feature new engagement strategies, including four themed weekly promotions. Advisors can enter to win prizes such as Carnival gift cards or a cruise by sharing their own “Funnel Fave” stories.

Other perks include the chance to enjoy a special lunch delivered by their Business Development Manager (BDM) and win Carnival-branded merchandise.

In addition, travel advisors will receive double the reward points for all new bookings submitted through Loyalty Rocks!, Carnival’s rewards platform. Points earned can be exchanged for various prizes, reinforcing Carnival’s commitment to rewarding advisors for their continued support.
