Harmony Of The Seas To Feature Fleet’s Largest Casino

Royal Caribbean International has confirmed that the Harmony of the Seas will debut the largest casino in the fleet following its upcoming refurbishment.
The existing casino will be significantly expanded, taking over the former Entertainment Place neighborhood. Deck plans reveal that the Crown Lounge and the Attic comedy club will be removed to accommodate the upgrade.
Entertainment Place, one of the ship’s original seven neighborhoods, also housed a Jazz Club, which was converted into a smoke-free casino in 2023. While the Attic will not be replaced, the Crown Lounge is being relocated to Deck 15, taking over space from the Living Room teen club.
The Oasis-class vessel is one of three Royal Caribbean ships scheduled for extensive drydock refits in 2026. The Harmony will enter a European shipyard in April for its month-long refurbishment under the Royal Amplified program.
In addition to the casino expansion, the project includes new specialty dining venues, additional bars, and updates to the solarium and pool deck. According to media outlets, over 90 new staterooms are potentially also being added to the ship’s 5,558-guest capacity.
After completing its refit, the Harmony of the Seas will sail a short summer program in the Western Mediterranean. The 2016-built ship will operate seven-night itineraries to Spain, France, and Italy before embarking on a 13-night transatlantic repositioning voyage to North America in late July.
Once in Port Canaveral, its new homeport, the Harmony will offer year-round cruises ranging from four to seven nights to the Bahamas and Caribbean.
