The port city of Koper, Slovenia, has launched a new environmentally conscious cruise terminal, reinforcing its role as a prominent hub in the Adriatic Sea. Situated just moments from the Old Town, the newly constructed terminal replaces outdated facilities and is designed to support increasing cruise tourism while emphasizing sustainability.

Managed by Luka Koper, the terminal incorporates energy-saving technologies and recyclable materials, and has been developed to blend harmoniously with the local urban landscape. Portions of the terminal are accessible to the public, showcasing the port authority’s dedication to community engagement and responsible tourism.

Since first welcoming cruise ships nearly two decades ago, Koper has grown in popularity among Mediterranean routes, having received over one million passengers. The state-of-the-art terminal is poised to accommodate future growth while improving the overall guest experience.
