TUI Cruises is expanding its themed voyage offerings with two exciting music-focused sailings aboard the Mein Schiff 1, featuring performances by world-renowned artists.

🎻 David Garrett at Sea: A Classical Meets Pop Cruise

From April 28 to May 3, 2026, violin virtuoso David Garrett will headline a special cruise departing from and returning to Palma de Mallorca. This marks the first edition of the David Garrett Cruise, blending classical mastery with modern music in an unforgettable setting.

“I’m excited to share my music in such a unique atmosphere, surrounded by the ocean,” Garrett shared. “The intimacy of spending five days with fans aboard a ship creates a truly special connection.”

Garrett is known for his dynamic crossover style, reinterpreting hits by Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Nirvana, and Michael Jackson. Guests onboard will be treated to three exclusive live performances during the journey.

Bookings open July 15, 2025, via a digital waiting room or travel agencies.

Pricing for the cruise starts at:

🎸 Sound Waves – 80’s Rock Comes Aboard

Launching immediately after Garrett’s cruise, the Sound Waves – 80’s Classic Rock sailing will take place May 3–8, 2026, also roundtrip from Palma. The itinerary includes stops in Marseille and Barcelona, with two relaxing days at sea.

The cruise is dedicated to the golden era of rock, featuring a lineup that includes:

  • Singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw
  • Glam rock legends SWEET
