Margaritaville at Sea Paradise to Add New Market-Style Eatery
The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will introduce a new self-service dining venue after completing a scheduled drydock in January 2026.
According to an update from Margaritaville at Sea, the ship’s traditional buffet will be replaced with a market-style restaurant offering a range of chef-prepared dishes at individual stations.
Renderings show concepts inspired by popular venues found on other Margaritaville at Sea ships and resorts, including Frank & Lola’s Pizzeria, Slide at Paradise Desserts and Mexican Cutie Cantina. The new space will be located on Deck 10.
The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise is slated to enter drydock in early January for a routine two-week maintenance period.
Operating year-round from the Port of Palm Beach, the 1991-built vessel runs short cruises lasting two to four nights. Its itineraries include destinations in Florida and the Bahamas, such as Freeport, Nassau and Key West.
Originally constructed for Costa Cruises in the early 1990s, the ship became the first vessel to launch under the Margaritaville at Sea brand in mid-2022. Before that, it sailed for Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and has undergone several significant refurbishments.
During its most recent upgrade in early 2025, the ship added new features including a craft spirits bar, refreshed poolside bars, a new specialty venue called Far Side Sushi and an updated menu at JWB Prime Steakhouse.
In related developments, Margaritaville at Sea recently introduced an onboard tattoo studio, Permanent Reminder, on its second ship, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander. The company is also preparing to welcome its third vessel, the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, in early 2027.
